Vanity Play |
As he enters the autumn of his years the playwright David Gale offers a dramatic presentation that will be the envy of all playwrights and ordinary people. The show that he has often been urged to present but has always resisted: the Life of David Gale.
David is played by veteran ensemblist Martin Gent, supported by the actors
who brought you Gale's earlier smash I Am Dandy. The show will examine, in
frank and emotional detail, such issues as David's intellectual precocity
as a three year old, his remarkable sexual allure as a young man, his widely
admired literary debut, his enduring charm.
