For the second year running, we've been shortlisted for a National Work Experience Award in recognition of our Producing and Production/Technical Internships.

We're in the under 10 employees category and are up against five other nominees, including fellow theatre company London Bubble. We came Highly Commended last year, so finger's crossed for another success.

We find out on Tuesday 22 March so will keep you posted.

You can read the full list of award categories and their nominees on the National Council for Work Experience's web page.

Or for further information on our internships, please look at the Internships section of our Get Involved page.

In related news, we've just found out that a previous intern (summer 2009), Amy Letman, has just been appointed Associate Producer at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.  Amy very kindly wrote to us when she found out the good news: "I just wanted to thank everyone at Fuel... the internship really made me certain about what I wanted to do and gave me my first real insight of how to do it properly... so thank you!"

We're thrilled for Amy and wish her all the best of luck with her new role.
