We have been exploring ways to answer this question through the New Theatre in Your Neighbourhood project.  We are exploring how we can improve the way we tour work. How can we build stronger relationships with partners, develop audiences and connect artists with the communities we visit in inspiring and meaningful ways.  As part of the project we asked Catherine Love to undertake some research and we're really pleased to share her report with you.  We'd love to hear your thoughts so get in touch, you can tweet us, leave a comment or send us an email.

You can find out about the New Theatre in Your Neighbourhood project here.

We've also been blogging about the project, with contributions from around the country here.

Take a look at the article in the Guardian.

New Theatre in your Neighbourhood is funded by Arts Council England and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

I have difficulty wrtiing in Devanāgarī ..I am proud BUT you should be stressing SAMSKRITA more than local languages, which is more divisive. Also I was unhappy to see words like LADAKĀ, etc. instead of VIDYĀRTHĪ or KUMĀRA.Also I see, you using Muslim script with BINDI bellow the letters. That is not our SANSKĀRA.Devanārī also has numbers. There is no need to use Roman numbers.I also notice that you use NATIONAL . We have RĀSHTRĪYA Dhanyavāda Cha NamaskāraGovinda Thakkar
