Our friends at LIFT are looking for participants for their Autumn 2012 Placement Programme. There are roles in Development, Digital Communication, Participation and Producing.

The LIFT Placement Programme an opportunity to learn more about arts management by experiencing the day-to-day operation of LIFT. The programme is aimed at people who have chosen their career path as a specialist in the arts and who, through practical experience, either wish to complete their education or to advance their professional career. Each placement provides additional rather than essential support to the LIFT department in which he/she is based. As well as practical experience, the programme provides participants with guidance and structured feedback; CV surgeries, advice on interview techniques and opens doors to many professional networks.
The LIFT Placement Programme is offered in the wider context of LIFT’s training mission which is to enable all LIFT personnel to develop their expertise, realise their potential and approach with confidence and skill the process of producing and delivering international participatory work.

Interviews will be held on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 September and the placements will run from w/c Monday 30 September to w/c Monday 17 December (3 days a week). Placements are able to claim travel and lunch expenses of £10 a day.
