Clod Ensemble - Open Workshop

Clod Ensemble is currently looking for strong physical theatre performers or dancers who are used to devising, for a variety of forthcoming productions. They are particularly interested in people who have experienced Lecoq training or similar workshops. All ages are welcome.

Clod Ensemble has been making work that crosses the boundaries between dance, theatre and visual art for over a decade, led by award-winning collaborators Suzy Willson and Paul Clark. Recent productions include An Anatomie in Four Quarters  (Sadler’s Wells, 2011); Under Glass (Winner of the Total Theatre Award for Visual/Physical Theatre in 2009), Red Ladies a chorus piece for 18 identically dressed women ( Trafalgar Square for British Architecture Week, 2005 ICA and Serralves Musuem 2008) and MUST a collaboration with legendary New York performer Peggy Shaw (Wellcome Collection, Soho Theatre, Public Theatre New York 2007 -2011).

Suitable applicants will be invited to a workshop with Clod Ensemble’s Artistic Directors on 7th March, 10am – 4pm in central London (location TBC).
