Hot Air
From Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 August artists, thinkers and cultural leaders spoke provocatively for a couple of minutes on a given theme. Inspired or outraged, the audience then had a chance to talk about what they said and had a free sandwich or two.

Lyn Gardner is a journalist and Theatre Critic.Sanjoy Ganguly is Artistic Director of theatre company Jana Sanskirit.
Inua Ellams is a Word & Graphic Artist, teacher and performer. His production The 14th Tale is at the Pleasance Theatre as part of the British Council Showcase.
Angela McSherry is an arts producer and consultant, and organiser of Tipping Point.Roger Cox is Deputy Arts Editor at The Scotsman.
Peggy Shaw is an independent performance artist, painter and poet. Peggy is currently collaborating with Clod Ensemble on her production Must: the inside story at the Edinburgh University Medical School.
David Farr is Associate Director of the RSC and former Artistic Director of the Lyric Hammersmith.
Brian Logan is an arts writer, theatre and comedy critic, playwright and performer. He is a founder member of Cartoon de Salvo, whose production Hard Hearted Hannah and Other Stories is at Theatre Workshop as part of the British Council Showcase.
Tom Bewick is Chief Executive of Creative & Cultural Skills (CCSkills).
Lemn Sissay is Poet and Artist in Residence, South Bank Centre.
Stuart Heyes is Production Manager at Fuel.
Tom Morris is Associate Director at the National Theatre, and has recently been appointed Artistic Director of the Bristol Old Vic.
Joyce McMillan is a journalist and Theatre Critic for the Scotsman.
